The Center for Middle Eastern Christian Studies, affiliated with the Evangelical Theological Seminary in Cairo, is pleased to announce the opening of applications for the 2026 Diploma in Arabic Christian Heritage.

Study Schedule
Studies begin Monday, March 2, 2026
The program is offered online to be accessible to Arabic speakers worldwide
The program lasts approximately one year and does not require full-time commitment. Students will study 12 courses.
Each course will be covered in [details of course descriptions would be inserted here]. Six lectures, two per week on Mondays and Fridays.
Each course is one and a half hours long and is taught over three weeks, followed by a week to complete the prerequisites before beginning the next course.
Instructors:
A distinguished group of professors specializing in Arab Christian heritage, theology, exegesis, and dialogue participate in teaching. This diploma is distinguished by the diverse backgrounds and extensive experience of its professors.
Fees:
The cost of each course is 3750 Egyptian pounds (approximately US$75). Therefore, the total cost of the diploma is 45,000 Egyptian pounds (approximately US$900). Students residing in Egypt are eligible to apply for a scholarship ranging from 25% to 75% of the tuition fees. The scholarship amount is determined by the center’s administration after completing the online application form, submitting the required certificates and documents, and conducting an online interview. Successful applicants will then receive an email with the scholarship amount.
The center’s administration regrets that it is unable to offer scholarships to students from outside the Arab Republic of Egypt.
Admission Requirements:
A university degree
Proficiency in Arabic
Proficiency in computer and internet skills, as required for online study
